Web-Designers versus Web-Developpers

This is a humorous but somehow still quite informative break down of the key differences and similarities between web programmers and web designers in the US. From the official and not so official stats we learn that the web programmers earn more than their web designing colleagues do but that they are also perhaps more prone to being nerds whereas their web design counterparts are fashion victims who could not be seen anywhere without the safety blanket afforded by the latest MacBook Pro.

Both species are similar in that they are heavily reliant on their mobiles and coffee, and they share a general fear of women. The suggestion seems to be that one group, the web designers, see their jobs as some kind of cool lifestyle choice but the poor web programmers would just be completely lost if they were asked to contemplate life as anything else!
